Ministries

For Adults:

We offer many opportunities for spiritual growth, fellowship and service.  This is through Adult Bible Fellowship Groups, Bible Studies, Sports teams, Retreats, Music, Missions, Prayer groups and more.

 

For Senior Adults:

Our “Speed Limit Gang”, those age 55 and over, meet on the second Saturday of each month at noon at the church for a potluck and a time of service and edification as they listen to visiting speakers or do service projects.

 

  For Teens:

The WAY

(the youth ministry of

Calvary Baptist Church)

 

Our youth are given the opportunity to come to know Christ and grow in Him through a variety of ministries.  We have Bible classes for them each Sunday morning at 9:15.  They meet again on Wednesday nights from 6:45-8:15 for a time of games, worship songs, teaching from God’s Word, fellowship, prayer, and accountability. 

 

The teens have times throughout the month when they go on outings for fun and fellowship, or simply for the purpose of ministering to the need of others.

 

Our teens have the opportunity to go to camp twice each year, and to participate in a missions trip each summer.

 

For Kids:

Our children grow and mature in Christ through Sunday School and Junior Church on Sunday mornings.  Kids age 3 through 6th grade also enjoy AWANA on Wednesdays evenings from 6:45 – 8:15 pm. 

 

For Readers:

Our church library offers books for clean and wholesome entertainment as well as books for advise on Christian living and Bible studies.  It also carries DVD’s, videos, and games for all ages.
