Parent Meeting January 28th 7:00-8:00 pm
If you want to know what your teens are learning, who the youth leaders are, and what our plans are for teaching, please come share the evening with us. We would love to get to know you parents as well.
Superbowl Party February 7th 6:00-11:00 pm
We are going to Zach Bramble’s house to watch the Superbowl. There will be plenty of food and snacks. Bring a friend and $3/person to help cover the cost of all the food.
S.N.A.C. February 28th 7:00-9:30 pm
We will leave from the church after the evening service, and will return at 9:30. This is always a fun time of fellowship.
Student Life Camp Daytona Beach, Florida July 10th — 18th
This week we will worship under one of the best speakers, Louie Giglio, and we will use this week to prepare for TheWAY Teen Conference (see details below). This trip is both a time of spiritual refreshment, and our Ministry Trip of the year. The cost is $450; however, there is a $100 scholarship available to anyone who faithfully attends Sunday School, Sunday church service, and Wednesday night youth group. There is also a $10 savings to anyone who turns in their deposit by October 28th. There is a $50 nonrefundable deposit due by January 20th.
TheWAY Teen Conference July 29th — 31st
We will be putting on our very own teen conference here at Calvary Baptist, and you teens will be the ones putting it on for your friends!!! You will be leading the music each day, and you will be teaching for two of the three days. Pastor Josh will teach the last day. We will be doing our planning and preparation during the Daytona trip, so you don't want to miss out on that training trip. You will want to invite all your friends to this awesome conference! |
